Satyam to provide free IT services to support China’s underprivileged children
Financial Express: Satyam Computer Services (NYSE: SAY) is providing free data management solution and IT services to Project Hope in China. This project is sponsored by China Youth Development Foundation to the national office of Project Hope Teacher Training Center. The basic aim of the program is to support underprivileged children with primary education.
Satyam will help build a database which will help people access information about trainees, schools, courses, and lecturers quickly and enable donors to review information and expenses involved in every project hope activity.
It is indeed a good move shown by Satyam, as it reflects its maturity and business ethics. This would certainly also help Satyam to get more projects in China in future.
