		<description>RIL setup their own network in preference for it&#039;s biggest competitor VSNL a few years ago. I guess this news item if real, is just trying to spruce-up the sagging VSNL stock! Also, could be RIL asked for this quote from VSNL to provide some &#039;competition&#039; to their own internal folks that are run by the other brother who has the telecom part of the Reliance empire.

Reliance group bought Tyco&#039;s global network a few years ago and have ample expertise to do this without VSNL!

In any case the Indian Investors didn&#039;t buy much into this &#039;news&#039; item as they sent VSNL down by over 2% yestdrday in India. See
