Sify’s new management taking shape with the hiring of new COO and CTO
Sify Ltd. (Nasdaq: SIFY) announced the hiring of a new CTO and COO this week. All but the CFO remains from the earlier management team. The new CTO comes with significant American experience and so far I don’t have much detail on the new COO. The question is how much will these guys get paid and will that negatively affect the numbers?

Bhaskar Sayyaparaju was hired as the Chief Technology Officer at Sify Limited.� According the press release, Bhaskar is an M.S. in Computer Science with a successful track record of IT leadership in the United States, with broad experience across infrastructure operations, network management, process development, application development/deployment, database management, website operations, desktop support operations and data center management. Bhaskar’s last position was General Manager of ServerEngines (India) Private Ltd after being the Director of Information Systems at Nvidia Corporation at Santa Clara, California, USA.

Also, ContentSutra.com has an article saying Venkat Suri will be the new Chief Operating Officer of Sify. The link to the Economic Times story wasn’t provided and I haven’t been able to find this news on EconomicTimes.com. The site also mentions that Venkat Suri is known to be close to Vegesna, and has founded an infrastructure firm, and was also with FMCG company ITC Ltd for 15 years
